The award reaches out to social and/or cultural initiatives that
have made an exceptional contribution in breaking the stigma that
that today still characterize societies' perception on mental
illnesses.
The prize is awarded to individuals, organizations
or projects that:
- have made an exceptional contribution to mental healthcare in
the broadest sense on a cultural and/or social level
- have provided a genuine contribution to getting rid of the
stigma on mental health
- have promoted attention for mental healthcare
- and have done all this with passion, creativity and
innovation
Unfortunately the nominations for the Award 2013 have been
closed. The announcement of the Award winner will be made on World
Mental Health Day, October 10th 2013.
